I hope you are all enjoying the summer and the great weather we are having. It seems like we just left school, and as usual, before you know it we will be back in full swing. To make sure that we kick the year off correctly in the athletic department, I want to make sure that you are all aware of the steps to be taken prior to the start of the Fall Sports season. Please see below:

If a student is interested in participating in a Marshwood High School Sport, they must have completed the following requirements:

*Turn in a MSAD 35 Permission Card/Student Contract (white card) to the Athletic Office two weeks prior to the start of the practices. This date would be the week of August 2nd-6th. These card are located in the MHS Main Office. Office hours during the summer are 7:30am-3pm. Please only turn in the completed white card to Mrs. Brooks, our Athletic Secretary in the Main office at the high school. DO NOT GIVE ANY OF THE PAPERWORK TO THE COACHES!!
All of our fall practices begin on August 16th this year for all levels, 9-12;

*Have an updated physical (within the last 13 months) on file with the school;
you can check your date with Mrs. Brooks when you drop your card off.

*Be Passing four (4) full time courses from the previous quarter.

*Please see our website at www.msad35.net for all coaching contact information and practice start times for the first week of fall sports. These are also located on www.digitalsports.net.

*Students and parents are encouraged to register online at www.digitalsports.net to sign up for teams and you will also have the opportunity to get instant e-mails whenever a schedule is changed (postponed and/or rescheduled) due to weather, or any other special circumstances

*Students wishing to participate on a daily basis must be in school for the entire day. If a students arrives after 9:00am, they will not be allowed to participate/play in that days activities. If a student misses classes on a Friday, and it is not excused, they will lose their opportunity to participate on Saturday.

*If a student is suspended either out-of-school or receives an in-school suspension, they will not be allowed to participate during their suspension. Once they return to school, the student may participate.
