Try out the Librarians’ Index to the Internet. This web directory indexes 20,000 websites, chosen by librarians for accuracy, Sample search ideas: hurricanes, Fidel Castro, whales. Use broad keywords for best results.

Investigate Marvel, a collection of dozens of databases. Masterfile Premier is a general magazine index. Maine Newstand accesses articles from Maine Newspaper archives. You can find brief descriptions of each database by click on the ABOUT link
