Marshwood Adult and Community Education serves the communities of Eliot and South Berwick as well as the entire seacoast area. Programs of study include High School Diploma, GED, COMPASS College Prep Program, Office Skills and Medical Transcription Certificates as well as a variety of enrichment classes. We also offer instruction for English Speakers of Other Languages and basic skills refresher classes in reading, writing and math.

Marshwood Adult and Community Education’s commitment is to provide the community with a center for lifelong learning. Classes are designed to be accessible, flexible and responsive to the needs and learning styles of our community members. Our student-centered approach celebrates diversity. We empower students by providing them with opportunities to set goals, work cooperatively, and to practice and acquire the skills necessary to become well-informed and productive members of our ever-changing society. We celebrated 40 years of service in 2006.
