Mission Statement: Central School Library supports all curriculum areas and aims to help students become enthusiastic, competent, life-long library users.

MSAD 35 Koha Libraries Catalog

The Library is located on the first floor where Mrs. Christine Polichronopoulos serves as the full time Library Educational Technician. Students in Grades 1 through 3 visit the Library weekly throughout the year to check out books, listen to a story, learn age appropriate library skills and engage in library activities. Mrs. Polichronopoulos works closely with students to help them develop the skills they need to become self-sufficient in the Library. Her goal is to instill in students a love of learning and literature. Kindergarten students visit the Library once a week for one quarter of the year to check out a book and listen to a story, and Pre-K students visit for story time.

The library collection currently includes 8,500 books to choose from, as well as magazines, books on audiotape, videos and software titles, which stay at school. New books are added to the collection each year and are chosen for a variety of reasons including curriculum needs and appropriate award winners.
